A lot of working dogs in training get “career changed.” I know a trainer at Guide Dogs for the Blind and it takes a very specific temperament for a dog to do a specific job. Dogs that aren’t up to guide may be transferred to another training center where they might be medical alert dogs or similar. You really can’t force a dog into a job that it doesn’t want to. Dogs are awesome and each can have a special purpose ❤
